The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Integrative Health Department exists to provide relationship centered care in a healing environment that cultivates resilience and engages each person's unique healing abilities. An interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to promoting wellness and providing quality care within the STOF Health Centers and communities to assure that patients, clients and families have the ability to maximize their health potential. A collaborative approach that incorporates evidence based education and therapies with respect to Seminole cultural practices are utilized.
Integrative Health seeks to: partner the patient and provider in the healing process; take into consideration all factors that influence health, wellness and disease including body, mind, spirit and community; use all healing sciences and include less invasive treatments to facilitate the body's innate healing response; and personalize care to best address the individual's unique conditions, needs and circumstances.
